Umbrellas have come a long way since the days when they trapped fingers and folded inside out at the first sign of a serious gust. With innovations in the canopy, the opening mechanism, the build and the handle, you can base your choice on a host of features.
Double-canopy umbrellas are designed to retain their shape, and therefore protection, in the strongest of winds. And then there is the Nike Golf Ladies 59" Windproof Umbrella, the handle of which has been designed specifically for a female's hand. To be honest, it looks great and we're sure most men would be very chuffed to have one too, even if the span isn't as big as many others.
