During the gloomier months of the year it's important to be prepared for the elements when out on the course. Mizuno's solution are the ImpermaLite Flex Waterproof Rain Trousers, which we review here.
The Mizuno ImpermaLite Flex Waterproof Rain Trousers have every feature you could possibly need from protective rainwear. They are designed to be worn as a trouser, and using special layering techniques (including the ImpermaLite technology) they stay dry while remaining exceptionally comfortable and flexible, so you never feel like you're compromising on comfort to protect yourself from the elements.
The external fabric feels like it's very high quality and does it's primary job of keeping you dry very well. In fact these are amongst the very best waterproof trousers we've tried.
Another great thing is how they protect you from the wind. Sometimes the waterproof materials on lesser products are too flimsy to properly protect you from strong winds and cold weather, but these do an excellent job on that front too. It seems that whatever you face on the course, the new Mizuno rainwear really does stand up to the test.
The zippers work well, ensuring that you're not messing around if you're trying to take them off or if you're adjusting your shoes. Also, the waistband is particularly comfortable and ensures that you don't feel awkward or constricted on any level.
As well as all the great features, the way waterproof trousers look and how comfortable they are will determine whether or not you believe them to be a good purchase. These really are the full package, giving you a slim fit and freedom of movement so that you look great and feel great when you're playing.
We highly recommend the ImpermaLites to anyone who has yet to find the perfect pair of waterproof golf trousers. They are a real favourite here at Leaderboard and a couple of members of the team bought a pair immediately after trying them in preparation for the winter weather.
Try them out and you won't be disappointed.
