They might look like oven gloves, but the Nike Golf Cold Weather Mitts are all about holding the heat inside rather than keeping it out. The baggy nylon exterior houses a fleece lining that keeps your hands nice and toasty as you go between shots.
The nylon exterior is also water resistant so the Nike Golf Cold Weather Mitts can be used through all types of weather the winter might throw at you, making them a very versatile bit of winter golf wear.
There are a couple of added extras that make the mittens even better. The first is the elastic around the wrist that pulls the cuff tightly around your wrist, making them more comfortable and keeping the cold air out so your hands stay as warm as possible.
Also, there is a synthetic leather palm which extends to the thumb and really adds to the usability of the Nike Golf Cold Weather Mitts. Gripping things, like the handle of an umbrella, the cap of a flask, or the head and shaft of your club is a doddle.
However, we wouldn't recommend taking your actual shots with the mittens on, even though they keep your hands so nice and warm that you might be tempted to.
So are there any real failings? Well, we are not mad about the look, but they do their job so well your only gripe will be why the rest of your winter golf wear can't keep you so cosy.
