More than this, though: it's been designed with neoprene stretch fabric panels to allow you full movement and flexibility, so your swing shouldn't have to suffer.

We certainly agreed that our shots never felt as though they were being impeded by the jacket, which is testament to Stuburt's use of materials in creating a waterproof that doesn't make playing golf harder than it should be.

It feels incredibly well-made. All too often jackets in this price bracket feel a little cheap and, even if they do keep the rain out, they don't stand the test of time. Stuburt's offering, however, felt incredibly durable and strong which was a surprise given how light and flexible it was.

This jacket has definitely been designed and fashioned with the concerns of the golfer in mind. The fabric is light and not at all noisy, so when you're caught in the rain you can feel warm, dry, and comfortable without having to don a cumbersome, awkward outer layer.

Two zipped pockets on the front enable you to store items you need on-hand in a waterproofed environment, so you don't have to worry about electronic items sustaining water damage. The stand-up collar is a welcome addition too, keeping you snug and dry even when the wind is howling.

Its warmth is one of its greatest strengths in this regard: there's no need to wear a thick jumper underneath to stave off the chill as the jacket is so cosy - unless you're playing in sub-zero temperatures perhaps!

This is a great looking jacket, and for the price it's really difficult to find fault. One thing we did notice after a day in constant rain was that the cuffs weren't completely waterproof - leaving us with slightly damp wrists. But, for such an outstanding jacket in every other regard, this was a minor issue.
