If the eccentric design of Nike's Method Concept Putter was a bit too much for you, then a more low-key but equally playable alternative exists. Never Compromise has a wide range of putters to choose from and their Gambler Series is a prime example of an appealingly chunky design combined with playability.
There are four styles in the series to choose from, depending on the head shape you prefer. Whether you seek a blade or mallet putter, Never Compromise has it covered. As already stated, the shape is more low-key but it's worth noting the flashy artwork on the sole, which I personally like but may prove too gimmicky for some.
The heads are made from forged 303 stainless steel to create a soft but solid club. Thanks to the forging process unlocking the true potential of the soft steel and its physical properties, these putters have been blessed with a superior feel that provides more control. A strong, rubber grip aids this further, putting you completely in control of a reliable putter that makes every shot count, long or short. The face is thin, which helps create a decently firm shot, but it also offers good feedback as any mis-hits will produce a different sound than if you hit it dead on.
Never Compromise has come up trumps with the Gambler series. It looks, feels, and even sounds good, and offers up the control vital to putting. If you want a solid, reliable putter, the Gambler series is a safe bet.
