As a Titleist Brand Ambassador, McIlroy of course uses nothing else. After a winning score of 16-under par at this year's US Open, why would he?
He uses a Titleist 910D2 Driver with an 8.5 degree loft and a ROMBAX 7VO5 shaft to smash his shots down the fairway. Rory's woods are the 909 F2 with a Project X shaft and the 906 F2 with a Fujikura ZCom Pro 95 shaft. They come with 13.5 and 18 degree lofts respectively.
Also in his bag are Titleist 3-9 710 MB irons and Vokey Design Wedges at 48, 54, 60 degree lofts, all with Project X 6.5 shafts. The Scotty Cameron Fastback Prototype 33" is the Ulsterman's putter of choice - helping him average 1.65 putts per green at this year's US Open.
Titleist's golf balls are extremely popular among the professional golfers, and for Rory McIlroy, the Pro V1X seems to be working very well for him. He uses a U.S. half-dollar as his ball marker.
Last year McIlroy signed a deal with Oakley to wear their golf apparel (which includes a range of high-performance shirts and trousers), and sunglasses. He opted for Oakley's new Flak Jacket sunglasses which features a switch-lock interchangeable lens system.
He does not wear Oakley shoes however, preferring to stick with Footjoy's collection. The 22 year has also chosen to wear Footjoy's Pure Touch glove.
Finally and perhaps most importantly, Manchester United fan Rory always keeps his lucky charm, a Man U branded stuffed bear, in the big pocket of his staff bag.
