Both Ben and Sam have been playing golf since their early teens, with respective handicaps of nine and 12, and as Ben confesses, their brotherly rivalry certainly makes for some interesting rounds (and some tormenting on the side).
"Sam will remember his first-ever round where he shot 170! I have never done that!" Ben teased.
"We have great matches and like to play as much as we can."
Aside from sibling golf grudges the duo focus their energy these days into their business, Golf Days UK. The company has two arms; one is golf days and the other is golf breaks. What makes them stand out from the competition is their added extras. You can ensure your hole in one (or even double bogey) is for keeps as they offer video footage and photography as part of their packages.

Ben said: "For our golf days we like to take a standard golf day and add our extras into it to make it more memorable for all involved."
What with first tee announcements, live blackberry scoring, and pre-round course presentations, you can rest assured it will be.
"Our motto is Turn Up, Tee Off, Enjoy! We like to keep this format for any of our days, where all our customers simply turn up and play their golf and entertain their clients."
But their inspiration for the business originated from their personal experiences. Having been on golf days themselves, Ben and Sam were left fed up with the monotony of what the market had to offer.
"We thought, what can we add to a golf day to make it really good? We try to give the normal golfer the professional golf experience. One of the keys things to our golf days is that there is no hassle for anyone who is organising the day - we have observed how stressful this can be for people as there is so much to do with a golf day to make sure it runs smoothly, we simply take the hassle away."
Not content with organising the creme de la creme of days out, they have started to expand, encompassing golfing trips across many of the best resorts in the UK and Ireland.
And speaking of expanding and diversifying, the business even has its own Tour. The Golf Days UK Norfolk Tour 2011 - The Race to Celtic Manor is their new concept for amateur golfers, who want to play competitive golf and compete for top-quality prizes.
As you've probably guessed, it's sponsored by the 2010 Ryder Cup venue, Celtic Manor. There are ten events throughout the year, beginning in February and ending in November. All the events are based on a 3/4 handicap individual stableford system. You don't have to be club member and you don't have to have a handicap certificate, although they do however monitor all handicaps throughout the year and adjust if necessary. The player with the best five scores throughout the year will be crowned Norfolk Tour Champion and will win a break for two to the Celtic Manor Resort for one night's stay and a round of golf on the Twenty Ten Course. The runner up will win a full set of custom-fit irons supplied by their other sponsor, Chris Potter Golf.
Ben added: "The tour has started to grow as the year has gone on and we hope to run this type of tour to our neighbouring counties next year."
When they're not busy with work, Ben and Sam are fortunate enough to get to play on some of the courses which they offer to their customers.
"We have been very lucky this year in playing some of the most amazing courses in the UK. We both agree that the Twenty Ten Course at Celtic Manor has been our favourite and we didn't score too badly either! I really enjoyed Gleneagles PGA Course and we experienced true Scottish golf at Gullane earlier this year too - gale force winds, sun, and torrential rain all in the space of one hole!"
And while Ben plays on the great golf courses not many of us have a chance to play on, he comforts us that he still experiences the woes which befall most golfers.
"The thing which I like least about golf, is that it can be such a frustrating game! How can you play so well one day and nail everything, and then the next play awful?" Ben said.
"My aim is to get down to single figures and being able to get round a course in less than 36 putts - my putting is horrendous!"
Ben also makes a great point about the pluses of golf compared to other sports: "Being able to compete with anyone if your handicap is set right. Also the fact that you can compare yourselves to the pros by playing the same courses they do - you can't play football at Wembley, but you can play golf at the tour venues!"
So true.
