Written by  Paul Gibbons on Friday, 18 February 2011
Chairman of Leaderboard Golf, Paul Gibbons, explains the company's mission and aims which hope to see Leaderboard become the authority for golf online.

Hi I’m Paul Gibbons, chairman of Leaderboard Golf. Leaderboard have always aimed to make golf accessible to anyone and everyone.

We’ve done this in the real world by providing teenagers the chance to get involved with the golfing community through our Tees for Teens scheme. This provides free golf lessons and membership at any of our golf courses for the younger golfer.

Today we begin a new mission.

We want to become the authority for golf online. Our aim is to provide the best coverage of the latest news stories, extensive reviews of the latest products and helpful tutorials for beginners and advanced golfers alike.

We want to create an engaging community for golf fanatics worldwide. We also intend to introduce as many people as possible to our excellent golf courses, facilities and experienced staff to golfing fans all over the globe.

Our business plan shows that this site will be self-sustainable which means you will be able to enjoy our content and video tutorials absolutely free of charge.

We cannot wait for you to get involved in this and we are actively taking requests for video tutorials you want to see.

Our aim is to provide content and a platform for discussion that we can all enjoy. Please, take a look around our website and see what we have to offer.

If you have any ideas or questions about Leaderboard we would love to hear from you. Please drop us an email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Paul Gibbons

Paul Gibbons is responsible for the overall running and development of the company.

Paul originally started Leaderboard in the late 90s, after selling his share of the Auto Trader. He gradually added new sites to the roster and now Leaderboard are the proud owners of four courses and the Leaderboard Golf Centre.

Paul enjoys being the Chairman of Leaderboard Golf profoundly and finds his role highly engaging and rewarding. He particularly enjoys working with his great team and developing new and exciting ideas for the Leaderboard brand – for example Paul has been instrumental in Leaderboard's quest to become 'The Authority for Golf Online'.

Paul states that his work is made all the more enjoyable due to the support, creativity and vision that his wife Jennifer offers. She created the Oxfordshire Hotel, was responsible for the refurbishment of Dale Hill, the rebuild of Chart Hills and designed the new Hotel that is in planning at Sandford Springs.
