A ball pocket is a little further up to ensure that it's much more accessible, and very spacious to accommodate plenty of equipment. At the bottom are also two pouches to house pens and a divot tool.  

The Catalina bag has been very thoughtfully designed to ensure that convenience is king, with the assurance that all of the pockets are forward-facing and positioned so as not to be obstructed by cart straps. The dividers for the clubs are full-length, which means that the grips won't get tangled up at the bottom of the bag, and even the umbrella pocket is placed so that it won't get in the way and prevent access to any other items. 

We loved this bag - although of a more modern design and lacking some of the traditional style you might find with other cart bags, this was more than made up for by its brilliance it terms of storage and convenience. Not only is the storage fantastic, it's light, too - weighing only around 5lb, which is significantly less than many other similar models, it would be perfect for those who are not as able to lift heavy objects - and great for travelling too. The Patented Crush Proof technology means that the bag will never dent if squashed either - another bonus if you'll be travelling a lot with it. It has three integrated handles, two on either side so as not to take up valuable real estate on the front, and one on the bottom to aid lifting the bag into the boot of a car, which have clearly been well thought-out; we found transporting the bag full of gear to be a breeze.

Once on the cart, there were no problems getting to any of our things - the pockets have been placed such that thy won't be underneath any straps, which means that getting spare balls or finding your phone isn't hindered by navigating straps and equipment first. An extra putter hole a little further forward means that the club you'll use on every hole is also the most accessible, and when it comes to the rest of the set they all have their place too - with the tallest, woods and hybrids, at the back, so that wedges towards the front are still easy to grab.

Perhaps the neatest thing we found though was the Fast Action Snap technology, which means that items such as your GPS and range finder can be snapped onto the top of the bag so that you can check data without even having to remove them.
