Hi guys, my name’s Graham Green and today I am going to do a product review for the new Ecco Biom golf shoe.

Now Ecco don’t only make shoes for golf, they make them for running, for walking and also for high-street fashion. In fact Ecco have got over 40-years experience of designing and making shoes in general. 

This new Biom shoe though, is a produce of the project, Biom, which was first created in 2007 where they brought walking boots and running shoes to the market and now in 2011 we finally have the first Biom golf shoe.

As well as the Biom technology this shoe is made with yak leather. Now yak leather is three-times stronger than any other conventional leather which means you can split it three ways down the width giving you the thinnest, most comfortable and strongest leather on the market. 

Now going back to the Biom technology they used people in the biomechanics industry of sport to help develop this shoe. They looked at how the foot moves and the flexibility of the foot along with how you walk and the natural pressure points of the foot – they’ve designed the entire shoe around that. 

It’s just full of technical features. It’s got a very low sole plate, making the player very low to the ground, which gives maximum stability for your golf swing. And we all know that if we have got more stability we will have better balance, with better balance we’ll be able to hit the ball straighter and further. 

Ecco is a choice of the Ryder Cup captain, Colin Montgomerie, and also their new signing Graeme McDowell.

Brilliant shoe and it’s really got all the technical features you would find in modern-day driver technology.
