As you're approaching the green, you need to use a club that offers high loft with maximum accuracy to perfect those short shots and get where you need to be.
Benross's range of wedge models offer the accuracy and spin control needed for the perfect approach shots.
The Benross Golf Zip It Laser Milled Wedge features:
• Players profile head with a smoked chrome anti-glare finish
• U shaped grooves to maximise spin that conform to regulations
• Additional laser milled face scoring for extra friction
This new for 2011 club features additional laser cut face grooves to increase club to ball friction, helping to create and impart extra spin and giving golfers of all abilities the opportunity to improve scores.
The white grooves on the Zip It really make the club stand out and its' pearl or smoked chrome, anti-glare finish ensures a club that is easy to align in all weather conditions.
The Benross wedge features a C-Grind sole, where material from the heel and toe of the club has been removed to enable the wedge to cut through the rough better. The design also allows players to open the club face around the green to play high, soft chips and pitches.
Combining this with the teardrop head shade and with the maximum width grooves really allows for increased spin and control and a very user-friendly wedge.
The Benross Zip It comes with a Aldila Hotcore Dynamic Gold Shaft, designed to launch the ball high and carry it. A lightweight and mid-torque construction means maximum club speed and stability at impact, allowing for great control over your shots.
Available in men's right hand only the Benross Zip It comes in lofts of 52, 56, 58 and 60 degrees with bounce angles of 10, 12, 8, and 5 degrees respectively.
This wedge is exceptionally easy to use and is great value for money. Although the white grooves make it very easy to see how much debris has collected the amount of spin they help produce is questionable. Don't get me wrong, this is a very versatile and easy to use club but more spin can be achieved with other wedges on the market.
What The Web is Saying
"A solid performance, with Chris suggesting it was particularly good value for money. Pete also liked the weight of the head and that the club felt well-balanced" - todaysgolfer.co.uk
"A traditional shape and workable sole help make this the best wedge Benross has made to date. It performed particularly well from bunkers
and helped pop the ball in the air" - golf-monthly.co.uk![]()
