Since the invention of golf itself this seemingly meaningless debate has taken the forefront; embodied in the most over-used cliché in the sport, 'you drive for show and putt for dough.' It's almost impossible to have played golf and never heard these words. But how much truth is there to the claim that putting is where the game is won or lost?
