It was a beautiful still, sunny day in Scotland (yes, Scotland). We drove into St Andrews and had a guided tour of the town by our host, professor Ian Percy. Fortunately for us the professor is a member of the R&A, plus a few other notable courses.

Top Ten Shots At St Andrews

 

St Andrews Links is often cited as the home of golf, with it being one of the oldest courses in the world. Located in the town of the same name in Fife, Scotland, the famous links course has often been used as the venue for the Open Championship, which is hosted in a number of rotating locations.

The claret jug will be heading back to St Andrews in 2015, following an announcement by the R&A that The Open will return to the historic Old Course.
